Dr Lynda Cheshire wins Research Excellence Award
The UQ Foundation Research Excellence Awards recognise outstanding performance and leadership potential among early-to mid-career researchers.

Dr Lynda Cheshire, of the School of Social Science, receives $80,000 to investigate whether the increase in reported neighbour complaints represent a breakdown in neighbourly relations or a decline in tolerance levels in the community to contribute to sociological theory about neighbours and neighbouring in urban contexts. It will assist government and policymakers understand how communities function in contemporary society.
